1. Lack of government support in any form of alternative medicine. (At the least, Chinese medicine is not formally recognized not longer ago. Also, many related professions are still not yet recognized by Hong Kong Ordinance.) 2. Dense population, which affects air quality and increase the chance of the spread of any diseases (SARS is a classic example).
